Mzansi Taal



The word has a couple of meanings depending on the context in which it is used:

1. It is most commonly used to refer to a quarter loaf of bread filled with chips and can be served with atchar, polony, cheese, russian, and tomato sauce and various other ingredients.

2. In Pretoria it can also be used to refer to a good song.

“Daai number ke kota.” – “That track is really good.”

“Kota ke kota.” – “A good track is a good track.”
