Makarapa (plural)

The term has a couple of meanings depending on the context in which it is used:

1. It can be used to refer to decorative headgear that is usually worn by soccer fans at matches.

2. It is also used in Limpopo to refer to people that work in Gauteng or far out of the province. These individuals usually work very busy schedules and only get the opportunity to return home a couple of times a year.
