It is a word that describes various things; greeting by way of whistling the same sound that the word produces when pronounced and township pantsula dance culture illustrated by local television drama titled “Tjovitjo”, launched in August 2017,  which focused on the lives of a group of dancers who use dance as a means of comfort and therapy in order to cope with and transcend the challenges that they face in the difficult circumstances that surround life in the townships of South Africa.
