Interjection
1. Used as a greeting.
“Hosh my chomi, shap fida.” – “Hi my friend, how are you doing?”
2. Used to say pause, stop or slow your role.
“Hosh! man, why you shaya shaya these people?” – “Stop man, why are you lying to these people?”
Also used as an assertive exclamation, usualy not a friendly exclamation:
Hosh my bru, jy kan mos nie soo dala nie. – Hold it man, you cant do that.
